4.5 out of 5 stars. Quick read and I enjoyed it. I liked the characters and there was actually a story here. Tyler/Van has a complicated past and Evie is in a current state of just getting by. Evie has an abusive father and Van is exactly what she needed to realize there is more than just following her father's rules and putting up with the way he treats her.I liked that she came off as the aggressor (or at least the one to push for more) more often than not - it just fit. He was the one trying to insert more than just the physical into their relationship. Van appeared to be a rough/tough guy but he wasn't really once she got to know him. His tattoos served a purpose in his life and meant something to him. He also tended to keep people at a distance but Evie was different for him. He also had some of the best lines in the book.Great story!
